The Democrats can’t quite let go of their talking point that The Problem is not Republicans, it’s the “MAGA Republicans.” I’m not quite sure why Democrats would want to imagine that there are loyal Republicans out there pining for liberal Republicans like Jacob Javits of New York or Mark Hatfield of Oregon from the days of yore.
